The mortal remains of three more victims reach Bagdogra

PRASHANT ACHARYA, EOI, SILIGURI, JULY 4, 2022: The mortal remains of three more victims of the Manipur landslide were airlifted to Bagdogra airport on Monday, bringing the total to 19.

Among these soldiers of the 11 Gorkha Rifles were Havildar Dipekar Pradhan of Kulbung village of Pulbazar, Darjeeling, Havildar Umesh Limbu of Teesta Valley Tea Estate, Rangli, of Darjeeling and Naik Chedup Lama of Pargati village, Darjeeling.

Army officials and representatives of the civil administration laid wreathes in their memory at 158 Base Hospital, Bagdogra.
