Kumudini Homes School Pipe and DrumBand gets a rousing reception in Kalimpong

YOWAN MOTHEY, EOI, KALIMPONG, JULY 26, 2022: The Pipeand Drum Band of Kumudini Homes School returned to Kalimpong on Tuesday after participating in the Basil Tattoo Festival held in Switzerland from July 14 to July 24. The band was given a grand welcome by the people all the Siliguri to Kalimpong.
The band has brought laurels to the Kalimpong school, as well as Darjeeling hills, West Bengal, the country, as well as the Gorkhas. Workers of various political parties ,teachers of various schools, students ,organizations and common people welcomed the members of this pipe and drum band by offering khadas, garlands, flower bouquets The band of Kumudini Homes School in Kalimpong, consisting of 20 students and one teacher, left Kalimpong on July 9 to participate in the Basil Tattoo festival. According to Roshan Bista, teacher of the school, trhe band members would be felicitated by various organizations in the coming few days
