The Telegraph | Calcutta | 16.07.22 : Bengal on Friday reported 3,067 new Covid-19 infections, 1,875 recoveries and five deaths.
Case positivity rate was 19.54 per cent on a day 15,699 samples were tested.
Currently, there are 30,043 active cases in the state: 29,306 in home isolation and 737 in hospitals, according to the state bulletin.
The state's positive recovery rate was 97.52% and mortality rate 1.03% on Friday when 15,699 samples were tested.
Since the pandemic broke out in 2020, the state has recorded 20,65,360 cases, of which 20,14,052 have made full recoveries. 21,265 fatalities have been recorded in the state so far.
