The Telegraph | Calcutta | 01.07.22 : Bengal on Thursday reported 1,524 new Covid-19 infections, 414 recoveries and one death.
Case positivity rate was 12.89 per cent on a day 11,827 samples were tested.
Currently, there are 6,994 active cases in the state: 6,691 in home isolation and 303 in hospitals, according to the state bulletin.
The state’s positive recovery rate was 98.61 per cent and mortality rate 1.05 per cent on Thursday. Since the pandemic broke out in 2020, Bengal has recorded 20,29,425 cases.
