Sunil Chhetri tips for cricketers

TT Bureau   |   10.05.22  : The National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore was in for a surprise visit on Sunday evening, when India football captain Sunil Chhetri (in Twitter picture with NCA chief VVS Laxman) had a session with cricketers from the Northeast and the Plate group teams.

Chhetri also took part in a few fielding drills. Over the last few weeks, the Plate teams are having a camp under Laxman’s supervision. A few days ago, India head coach Rahul Dravid also attended the session. “It was very kind of @chetrishunil11 to interact with players from North East and Plate groups and share his expertise and experience. I am sure the interaction would have broadened their horizons. Thanks, Sunil, for taking off making their day! @BCCI #NCA,” Laxman tweeted on Monday. BCCI posted a video of Chhetri taking part in a training session with the caption: “NCA’s Neighbour, Indian Football Captain and Legend, @chetrisunil11 dropping by on Sunday evening. He had a delightful fielding competition and shared some learnings from his own incredible journey in Football with the boys from North East and Plate Teams.
