GTA poll notification issued by the West Bengal government
A notification vide memo number 81-HA/0/M-04/2022 dated 27 May 2022 is issued under Rule 13(2) of the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (Election) Rules, 2012, framed under the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration Act, 2011 and published in the Official Gazette vide No. 505-HA/0/M-04-2012 dated 28-06-2012.
Election to elect 45 members of the Gorkhaland Territorial Administartion sabha shall be held as per the following schedule: Nomination starts from 27 June and last date of nomination is 3rd June, 2022, scrutiny of nominations is 4th June, 2022, while last date for withdrawal of candidature is 6th June, 2022.
Poll shall be held on 26th June, 2022 from 7-00 A.M. to 4-00 P.M and the election procedure will be completed by 7th July, 2022.
