4064 Madhyamik P examinees appearing in 3 centres and 20 venues of Kalimpong

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 6 March 2022 :4064 examinees of the Kalimpong district are appearing in the Madhyamik Pariksha 2022 set to be held offline from 7 March across the state. For conducting the Madhyamik Pariksha 2022 that commences from 7th March 2022, there are 3 examination centres and  20 venues and auxiliary venues in the district. 2074 boy and 1990 girl examinees are appearing from these venues, of these 4053 are regular candidates consisting of  2070 boys and 1983 girls. 4 continuing candidates and 7 compartmental students are also appearing along with others.

The class ten level of secondary examination for the year 2022 under the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education will be held between March 7 and March 16, 2022 with first-language papers on the first day followed by second-language and Geography on the second and third day respectively. The Madhyamik examinations will be conducted in off line mode with only one paper on each day from 11.45am to 3pm in different venues of various centres as in previous years. The first 15 minutes will be provided to read the question paper.

In the district of Kalimpong 4064 examinees are appearing in the 20 schools designated as examination venues. 

The number of examinees appearing in the 3 venues and 1 sub venue of Gorubathan Centre is 1006. Of these 243 are in Juddhabir HS School (new Model School building),  217 in the old building of Juddhabir HSS, 314 in Bagrakote HS School, 232 in Ambiok High School. 

In the 3 venues of Jaldhaka Centre, there are 531 examinees of which 234 are appearing in Gairibas HS School, 161 in Jaldhaka HS School, 136 in Rongo HS School. 

In the 13 venues of Kalimpong centre, 2825 examinees are appearing. In the venue of Kumudini Homes HS School 318, in Pranami Balika Vidhya Mandir HS School 117, in SUM Institution 233, in Kalimpong Girls' HS School 306, in Indo-Tibetan HS School 67, in Jubilee HS School 122, in Government High School 204, in Philomena's Girls' HS School 203, in Chandraya HS School 145, in Gangotri HS School 155, Pagang Gumpa HS School 122, in Algarah HS School 282 and in St George's HS School 249 examinees are sitting.
