3 of Kalimpong dies in an accident near NBMCH

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 24.03.2022 : Three people of Kalimpong travelling with a patient in a Matriyan ambulance died in an accident at Utsav Dhara near Naukaghat Siliguri.

Anisha Rai (21) a nine month pregnant woman of Sindebong who died on the spot was referred by Kalimpong District Hospital to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. During the tragic accident two others also died during a head on collision with a 10 wheel lorry at about 1.30 am last night.

The other two who lost their life are mother-in-law of the woman Leela Rai (55), and driver Abhishek Biswakarma (20) of Chisopani. Kapil Baraily (22) husband of the deceased woman is struggling for his life in NBMCH.
