KalimNews, Kalimpong, 11 February 2022: It is observed that in Bengal and particularly in North Bengal, the number of new infections has diminished while the rate of death alarmingly rose high. Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

3 Death:

Death of 1 Coochbehar, 1 in Alipurduar, and 1 Uttar Dinajpur, is recorded during the last 24 hours.

40 in Darjeeling:

During the last 24 hours 40 new cases, 72 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 40 new cases, and till today there are 68,803 confirmed cases of which 67,460 have recovered and 589 died while 754 are active cases.

17 in Kalimpong:

17 new cases, 13 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 17 new cases, and till today there are 8,463 confirmed cases of which 8,257 have recovered, 57 died and 149 are active cases.

31 in Alipurduar:

31 new cases 39 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 31 new cases, and till today there are 18,724 confirmed cases of which 18,193 have recovered and 110 died while 421 are active cases.

17 in Coochbehar: 

17 new cases, 42 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 17 new cases, and till today there are 33,840 confirmed cases of which 33,308 have recovered, 105 died and 427 are active cases.

73 in Jalpaiguri: 

73 new cases, 55 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 73 new cases, and till today there are 49,335 confirmed cases of which 640 died while 48,079 have recovered and 616 are active cases.

14 in Uttar Dinajpur:

14 new cases, 24 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 14 new cases, and till today, there are 25,034 confirmed cases of which 260 died while 24,523 have recovered and 251 are active cases.

13 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

13 new cases 29 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 13 new cases, and till today there are 22,916 confirmed cases of which 192 died while 22,420 have recovered and 304 are active cases.

27 in Malda:
