KalimNews, Kalimpong, 12 February 2022: It is observed that in Bengal and particularly in North Bengal, the number of new infections has diminished while the rate of death alarmingly rose high. Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:
3 Death:
Death of 1 in Jalpaiguri, 1 in Dakshin Dinajpur, and 1 in Malda, is recorded during the last 24 hours.
29 in Darjeeling:
During the last 24 hours 29 new cases, 72 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 29 new cases, and till today there are 68,832 confirmed cases of which 67,532 have recovered and 589 died while 711 are active cases.
14 in Kalimpong:
14 new cases, 14 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 17 new cases, and till today there are 8,477 confirmed cases of which 8,271 have recovered, 57 died and 149 are active cases.
29 in Alipurduar:
29 new cases 40 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 29 new cases, and till today there are 18,753 confirmed cases of which 18,233 have recovered and 110 died while 410 are active cases.
18 in Coochbehar:
18 new cases, 41 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 18 new cases, and till today there are 33,858 confirmed cases of which 33,349 have recovered, 105 died and 404 are active cases.
42 in Jalpaiguri:
42 new cases, 58 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 42 new cases, and till today there are 49,377 confirmed cases of which 641 died while 48,137 have recovered and 599 are active cases.
15 in Uttar Dinajpur:
15 new cases, 24 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 15 new cases, and till today, there are 25,049 confirmed cases of which 260 died while 24,547 have recovered and 242 are active cases.
16 in Dakshin Dinajpur:
16 new cases 29 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 16 new cases, and till today there are 22,932 confirmed cases of which 193 died while 22,449 have recovered and 290 are active cases.
37 in Malda:
37 new cases 49 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 37 new cases, and till today there are 44,293 confirmed cases of which 43,591 have recovered and 197 died and 505 are active.
