KalimNews, Kalimpong, 7 February 2022: It is observed that in Bengal and particularly in North Bengal, the number of new infections has diminished. Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

7 Death:

Death of 1 in Alipurduar, 2 in Darjeeling, 4 in Jalpaiguri is recorded during the last 24 hours.

33 in Darjeeling:

During the last 24 hours 33 new cases, 94 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 33 new cases, and till today there are 68,640 confirmed cases of which 67,169 have recovered and 585 died while 906 are active cases.

16 in Kalimpong:

16 new cases, 17 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 16 new cases, and till today there are 8,429 confirmed cases of which 8,201 have recovered, 57 died and 171 are active cases.

36 in Alipurduar:

36 new cases 43 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 36 new cases, and till today there are 18,576 confirmed cases of which 18,034 have recovered and 108 died while 434 are active cases.

25 in Coochbehar: 

25 new cases, 52 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 25 new cases, and till today there are 33,743 confirmed cases of which 33,131 have recovered, 103 died and 509 are active cases.

35 in Jalpaiguri: 

35 new cases, 68 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 35 new cases, and till today there are 49,149 confirmed cases of which 632 died while 47,849 have recovered and 668 are active cases.

25 in Uttar Dinajpur:

25 new cases, 30 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 25 new cases, and till today, there are 24,983 confirmed cases of which 259 died while 24,419 have recovered and 305 are active cases.

17 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

17 new cases 38 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 17 new cases, and till today there are 22,850 confirmed cases of which 188 died while 22,295 have recovered and 367 are active cases.

16 in Malda:
