KalimNews, Kalimpong, 13 February 2022: It is observed that in Bengal and particularly in North Bengal, the number of new infections has diminished while the rate of death alarmingly rose high. Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

3 Death:

Death of 1 in Darjeeling , 1 in Jalpaiguri, 1 in Uttar Dinajpur is recorded during the last 24 hours.

21 in Darjeeling:

During the last 24 hours 21 new cases, 70 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 21 new cases, and till today there are 68,853 confirmed cases of which 67,602 have recovered and 590 died while 661 are active cases.

5 in Kalimpong:

5 new cases, 15 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 5 new cases, and till today there are 8,482 confirmed cases of which 8,286 have recovered, 57 died and 139 are active cases.

19 in Alipurduar:

19 new cases 40 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 19 new cases, and till today there are 18,772 confirmed cases of which 18,273 have recovered and 110 died while 389 are active cases.

14 in Coochbehar: 

14 new cases, 40 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 14 new cases, and till today there are 33,872 confirmed cases of which 33,389 have recovered, 105 died and 378 are active cases.

39 in Jalpaiguri: 

39 new cases, 59 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 39 new cases, and till today there are 49,416 confirmed cases of which 642 died while 48,196 have recovered and 578 are active cases.

14 in Uttar Dinajpur:

14 new cases, 24 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 14 new cases, and till today, there are 25,063 confirmed cases of which 261 died while 24,571 have recovered and 231 are active cases.

16 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

16 new cases 29 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 16 new cases, and till today there are 22,948 confirmed cases of which 193 died while 22,478 have recovered and 277 are active cases.

20 in Malda:
