KalimNews, Kalimpong, 15 February 2022: It is observed that in Bengal and particularly in North Bengal, the number of new infections has diminished while the rate of death alarmingly rose high. Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

6 Death:

Death of 1 in Coochbehar, 3 in Darjeeling , 1 in Jalpaiguri, 1 in Uttar Dinajpur is recorded during the last 24 hours.

19 in Darjeeling:

During the last 24 hours 19 new cases, 69 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 19 new cases, and till today there are 68,884 confirmed cases of which 67,740 have recovered and 594 died while 550 are active cases.

1 in Kalimpong:

1 new cases, 14 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 1 new cases, and till today there are 8,484 confirmed cases of which 8,314 have recovered, 57 died and 113 are active cases.

11 in Alipurduar:

11 new cases 41 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 11 new cases, and till today there are 18,895 confirmed cases of which 18,468 have recovered and 110 died while 332 are active cases.

11 in Coochbehar: 

11 new cases, 40 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 11 new cases, and till today there are 33,872 confirmed cases of which 33,389 have recovered, 106 died and 321 are active cases.

11 in Jalpaiguri: 

11 new cases, 62 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 11 new cases, and till today there are 49,452 confirmed cases of which 643 died while 48,318 have recovered and 491 are active cases.

5 in Uttar Dinajpur:

5 new cases, 24 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 5 new cases, and till today, there are 25,071 confirmed cases of which 264 died while 24,619 have recovered and 188 are active cases.

12 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

12 new cases 31 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 12 new cases, and till today there are 22,981 confirmed cases of which 193 died while 22,538 have recovered and 250 are active cases.

13 in Malda:
