TT Correspondent | Jalpaiguri | 06.01.22 : A leopard skin and some pangolin scales were seized from a duo by foresters of Lataguri and Gorumara south forest ranges, Jalpaiguri district, on Wednesday.
According to sources, foresters contacted the duo posing as buyers, and nabbed them near Gorumara National Park. “Their two-wheeler was searched and the animal parts were seized. They had smuggled the items from Bhutan and planned to send them to Mumbai,” said a source. The duo, Anil Nayak and Prasad Oraon, have been arrested.
