KalimNews, Kalimpong, 4 January 22: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

50 in Darjeeling:

During the last 24 hours 50 new cases, 37 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 50 new cases, and till today there are 58,640 confirmed cases of which 57,875 have recovered and 553 died while 212 are active cases.

2 in Kalimpong:

2 new cases, 4 releases and 1 death were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 2 new cases, and till today there are 7,190 confirmed cases of which 7,115 have recovered, 55 died and 20 are active cases.

8 in Alipurduar:

8 new cases, 4 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 8 new cases, and till today there are 15,807 confirmed cases of which 15,678 have recovered and 102 died while 27 are active cases.

14 in Coochbehar: 

14 new cases, 15 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 14 new cases, and till today there are 29,965 confirmed cases of which 29,788 have recovered, 99 died and 78 are active cases.

38 in Jalpaiguri: 

38 new cases, 22 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 38 new cases, and till today there are 42,873 confirmed cases of which 592 died while 41,147 have recovered and 134 are active cases.

21 in Uttar Dinajpur:

21 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 21 new cases, and till today, there are 20,217 confirmed cases of which 241 died while 19,926 have recovered and 50 are active cases.

10 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

10 new cases 14 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 10 new cases, and till today there are 18,771 confirmed cases of which 176 died while 18,524 have recovered and 71 are active cases.

94 in Malda:  

94 new cases 34 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 94 new cases, and till today there are 34,192 confirmed cases of which 33,761 have recovered and 188 died and 243 are active.
