KalimNews, Kalimpong, 8 November 21: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:
1 Death:
Death of 1 in Malda is recorded during the last 24 hours.
18 in Darjeeling:
During the last 48 hours 18 new cases, 20 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 18 new cases, and till today there are 57,310 confirmed cases of which 56,531 have recovered and 543 died while 236 are active cases.
6 in Kalimpong:
6 new cases, 2 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 6 new cases, and till today there are 7,062 confirmed cases of which 6,974 have recovered, 54 died and 34 are active cases.
4 in Alipurduar:
4 new 4 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 4 new cases, and till today there are 15,629 confirmed cases of which 15,479 have recovered and 102 died while 48 are active cases.
10 in Coochbehar:
10 new cases, 10 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 10 new cases, and till today there are 29,372 confirmed cases of which 29,153 have recovered, 97 died and 122 are active cases.
5 in Jalpaiguri:
5 new cases, 10 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 5 new cases, and till today there are 42,068 confirmed cases of which 577 died while 41,369 have recovered and 122 are active cases.
5 in Uttar Dinajpur:
5 new cases, 8 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 5 new cases, and till today, there are 19,946 confirmed cases of which 239 died while 19,616 have recovered 91 are active cases.
29 in Dakshin Dinajpur:
29 new cases, 15 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 29 new cases, and till today there are 18,066 confirmed cases of which 171 died while 17,703 have recovered and 192 are active cases.
2 in Malda:
2 new cases, 9 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 2 new cases, and till today there are 33,487 confirmed cases of which 33,204 have recovered and 187 died and 96 are active.
