KalimNews, Kalimpong, 16 October: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

19 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 19 new cases, 23 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 19 new cases, and till today there are 56,738 confirmed cases of which 55,859 have recovered and 536 died while 343 are active cases.

4 in Kalimpong:

4 new cases, 4 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 4 new cases, and till today there are 6,998 confirmed cases of which 6,881 have recovered, 54 died and 63 are active cases.

2 in Alipurduar:

2 new 4 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 2 new cases, and till today there are 15,526 confirmed cases of which 15,361 have recovered and 101 died while 64 are active cases.

10 in Coochbehar: 

10 new cases, 10 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 12 new cases, and till today there are 29,097 confirmed cases of which 28,851 have recovered, 97 died and 149 are active cases.

14 in Jalpaiguri: 

14 new cases, 14 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 14 new cases, and till today there are 41,760 confirmed cases of which 566 died while 40,989 have recovered and 205 are active cases.

7 in Uttar Dinajpur:

7 new cases, 2 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 7 new cases, and till today, there are 19,746 confirmed cases of which 235 died while 19,474 have recovered 37 are active cases.

14 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

14 new cases, 10 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 14 new cases, and till today there are 17,664 confirmed cases of which 169 died while 17,351 have recovered and 144 are active cases.

6 in Malda:  

6 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 6 new cases, and till today there are 33,283 confirmed cases of which 33,000 have recovered and 186 died and 97 are active.
