KalimNews, Kalimpong, 18 October: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

1 Death:

Death of 1 in Uttar Dinajpur is recorded during the last 24 hours.

21 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 21 new cases, 30 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 21 new cases, and till today there are 56,775 confirmed cases of which 55,918 have recovered and 537 died while 320 are active cases.

3 in Kalimpong:

3 new cases, 5 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 1 new cases, and till today there are 7,002 confirmed cases of which 6,891 have recovered, 54 died and 57 are active cases.

4 in Alipurduar:

4 new 6 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 2 new cases, and till today there are 15,532 confirmed cases of which 15,372 have recovered and 101 died while 59 are active cases.

11 in Coochbehar: 

11 new cases, 14 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 11 new cases, and till today there are 29,119 confirmed cases of which 28,878 have recovered, 97 died and 144 are active cases.

7 in Jalpaiguri: 

7 new cases, 19 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 7 new cases, and till today there are 41,773 confirmed cases of which 566 died while 41,025 have recovered and 182 are active cases.

15 in Uttar Dinajpur:

15 new cases, 3 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 15 new cases, and till today, there are 19,763 confirmed cases of which 236 died while 19,480 have recovered 47 are active cases.

24 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

24 new cases, 14 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 24 new cases, and till today there are 17,694 confirmed cases of which 169 died while 17,377 have recovered and 148 are active cases.

2 in Malda:  

2 new cases, 9 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 2 new cases, and till today there are 33,292 confirmed cases of which 33,017 have recovered and 186 died and 89 are active.
