New cases KalimNews, Kalimpong, 28 October: Number of new cases of Covid-19 infection in the state is increasing after the Dussehra, though the number of death is around 10, the rate of increase is alarming.
Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:
1 Death:
Death of 1 in Uttar Dinajpur is recorded during the last 24 hours.
28 in Darjeeling:
During the last 48 hours 28 new cases, 31 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 28 new cases, and till today there are 57,058 confirmed cases of which 56,235 have recovered and 538 died while 285 are active cases.
2 in Kalimpong:
2 new cases, 4 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 2 new cases, and till today there are 7,026 confirmed cases of which 6,938 have recovered, 54 died and 34 are active cases.
6 in Alipurduar:
6 new 5 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 6 new cases, and till today there are 15,576 confirmed cases of which 15,426 have recovered and 102 died while 48 are active cases.
11 in Coochbehar:
11 new cases, 13 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 11 new cases, and till today there are 29,243 confirmed cases of which 29,021 have recovered, 97 died and 125 are active cases.
17 in Jalpaiguri:
17 new cases, 17 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 25 new cases, and till today there are 41,936 confirmed cases of which 570 died while 41,205 have recovered and 161 are active cases.
12 in Uttar Dinajpur:
12 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 12 new cases, and till today, there are 19,841 confirmed cases of which 237 died while 19,538 have recovered 66 are active cases.
14 in Dakshin Dinajpur:
14 new cases, 16 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 14 new cases, and till today there are 17,843 confirmed cases of which 169 died while 17,525 have recovered and 149 are active cases.
9 in Malda:
9 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 9 new cases, and till today there are 33,352 confirmed cases of which 33,098 have recovered and 186 died and 68 are active.
