KalimNews, Kalimpong, 17 October: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

1 Death:

Death of 1 in Darjeeling is recorded during the last 24 hours.

16 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 16 new cases, 29 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 16 new cases, and till today there are 56,7354 confirmed cases of which 55,888 have recovered and 537 died while 329 are active cases.

1 in Kalimpong:

1 new cases, 5 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 1 new cases, and till today there are 6,999 confirmed cases of which 6,886 have recovered, 54 died and 59 are active cases.

2 in Alipurduar:

2 new 5 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 2 new cases, and till today there are 15,528 confirmed cases of which 15,366 have recovered and 101 died while 61 are active cases.

11 in Coochbehar: 

11 new cases, 13 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 11 new cases, and till today there are 29,108 confirmed cases of which 28,864 have recovered, 97 died and 147 are active cases.

6 in Jalpaiguri: 

6 new cases, 17 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 6 new cases, and till today there are 41,766 confirmed cases of which 566 died while 41,006 have recovered and 194 are active cases.

2 in Uttar Dinajpur:

2 new cases, 3 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 2 new cases, and till today, there are 19,748 confirmed cases of which 235 died while 19,477 have recovered 36 are active cases.

6 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

6 new cases, 12 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 6 new cases, and till today there are 17,670 confirmed cases of which 169 died while 17,363 have recovered and 138 are active cases.

7 in Malda:  

7 new cases, 8 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 7 new cases, and till today there are 33,290 confirmed cases of which 33,008 have recovered and 186 died and 96 are active.
