New cases- 5 in Kalimpong, 49 in Darjeeling, 1 death in North Bengal: State records 679 new cases, 12 death.

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 1 September: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

1 Death:

Death of 1 in Darjeeling is recorded during the last 24 hours.

49 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 49 new cases, 51 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 49 new cases, and till today there
are 55,225 confirmed cases of which 53936 have recovered and 517 died while 772 are active cases.

5 in Kalimpong:

5 new cases, 12 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 5 new cases, and till today there are 6,723 confirmed cases of which 6,518 have recovered, 51 died and 154 are active cases.

4 in Alipurduar:

4 new cases, 12 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 4 new cases, and till today there are 15,227 confirmed cases of which 14,984 have recovered and 99 died while 144 are active cases.

14 in Coochbehar: 

14 new cases, 29 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 14 new cases, and till today there are 28,488 confirmed cases of which 28,032 have recovered, 95 died and 361 are active cases.

10 in Jalpaiguri: 

10 new cases, 32 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 10 new cases, and till today there are 40,850 confirmed cases of which 553 died while 39, 908 have recovered and 389 are active cases.

2 in Uttar Dinajpur:

2 new cases, 5 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 2 new cases, and till today, there are 19,609 confirmed cases of which 235 died while 19,307 have recovered 67 are active cases.

7 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

7 new cases, 9 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 7 new cases, and till today there are 17,135 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,855 have recovered and 112 are active cases.

6 in Malda:  

6 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 6 new cases, and till today there are 32,828 confirmed cases of which 32,5569 have recovered and 185 died and 74 are active.
