KalimNews, Kalimpong, 2 September: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

2 Death:

Death of 1 in Kalimpong, 1 in Dakshin Dinajpur is recorded during the last 24 hours.

1 in Darjeeling, 1 in Jalpaiguri,  1 in Uttar Dinajpur, 1 in Alipurduar, 2 in Coochbehar, 1 in Jalpaiguri and, 1 in Malda,

41 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 41 new cases, 68 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 41 new cases, and till today there are 55,266 confirmed cases of which 54004 have recovered and 518 died while 744 are active cases.

5 in Kalimpong:

5 new cases, 12 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 5 new cases, and till today there are 6,728 confirmed cases of which 6,530 have recovered, 52 died and 146 are active cases.

5 in Alipurduar:

5 new cases, 12 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 5 new cases, and till today there are 15,232 confirmed cases of which 14,996 have recovered and 99 died while 137 are active cases.

16 in Coochbehar: 

16 new cases, 29 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 16 new cases, and till today there are 28,504 confirmed cases of which 28,061 have recovered, 95 died and 348 are active cases.

24 in Jalpaiguri: 

24 new cases, 33 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 24 new cases, and till today there are 40,874 confirmed cases of which 553 died while 39, 941 have recovered and 380 are active cases.

11 in Uttar Dinajpur:

11 new cases, 5 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 11 new cases, and till today, there are 19,620 confirmed cases of which 235 died while 19,312 have recovered 73 are active cases.

11 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

11 new cases, 9 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 11 new cases, and till today there are 17,146 confirmed cases of which 169 died while 16,864 have recovered and 113 are active cases.

4 in Malda:  

4 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 4 new cases, and till today there are 32,832 confirmed cases of which 32,5575 have recovered and 185 died and 72 are active.
