KalimNews, Kalimpong, 28 September: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

1 Death:
Death of 1 in Darjeeling is recorded during the last 24 hours.

30 in Darjeeling:
During the last 48 hours 30 new cases, 38 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 21 new cases, and till today there are 56,205 confirmed cases of which 55,251 have recovered and 529 died while 425 are active cases.

5 in Kalimpong:
5 new cases, 6 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 5 new cases, and till today there are 6,895 confirmed cases of which 6,772 have recovered, 53 died and 70 are active cases.

5 in Alipurduar:
5 new cases, 6 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 5 new cases, and till today there are 15,420 confirmed cases of which 15,247 have recovered and 101 died while 72 are active cases.

13 in Coochbehar: 
13 new cases, 16 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 13 new cases, and till today there are 28,863 confirmed cases of which 28,594 have recovered, 96 died and 173 are active cases.

19 in Jalpaiguri: 
19 new cases, 23 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 19 new cases, and till today there are 41,443 confirmed cases of which 564 died while 40,625 have recovered and 254 are active cases.

1 in Uttar Dinajpur:
1 new cases, 3 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 1 new cases, and till today, there are 19,698 confirmed cases of which 235 died while 19,431 have recovered 32 are active cases.

9 in Dakshin Dinajpur:
9 new cases, 12 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 9 new cases, and till today there are 17,429 confirmed cases of which 169 died while 17,133 have recovered and 127 are active cases.

9 in Malda:  
9 new cases, 10 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 9 new cases, and till today there are 33,124 confirmed cases of which 32,826 have recovered and 186 died and 112 are active.
