KalimNews, Kalimpong, 8 September: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

3 Death:

Death of 1 in Darjeeling, 1 in Jalpaiguri, 1 in Mada is recorded during the last 24 hours.

24 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 24 new cases, 64 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 24 new cases, and till today there are 55,470 confirmed cases of which 54,352 have recovered and 520 died while 598 are active cases.

11 in Kalimpong:

11 new cases, 13 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 11 new cases, and till today there are 6,777 confirmed cases of which 6,600 have recovered, 52 died and 125 are active cases.

7 in Alipurduar:

7 new cases, 12 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 7 new cases, and till today there are 15,277 confirmed cases of which 15,061 have recovered and 99 died while 117 are active cases.

11 in Coochbehar: 

11 new cases, 29 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 11 new cases, and till today there are 28,590 confirmed cases of which 28,221 have recovered, 95 died and 274 are active cases.

26 in Jalpaiguri: 

26 new cases, 32 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 26 new cases, and till today there are 40,981 confirmed cases of which 555 died while 40,116 have recovered and 310 are active cases.

3 in Uttar Dinajpur:

3 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 3 new cases, and till today, there are 19,650 confirmed cases of which 235 died while 19,350 have recovered 65 are active cases.

10 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

10 new cases, 12 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 10 new cases, and till today there are 17,207 confirmed cases of which 169 died while 16,923 have recovered and 115 are active cases.

21 in Malda:  

21 new cases, 9 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 21 new cases, and till today there are 32,891 confirmed cases of which 32,614 have recovered and 186 died and 91 are active.
