KalimNews, Kalimpong, 15 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

2 Death:

Death of 1 in Darjeeling, 1 in Jalpaiguri is recorded during the last 24 hours.

71 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 71 new cases, 70 releases are reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 71 new cases, and till today there are 54,347 confirmed cases of which 52,834 have recovered and 509 died while 1004 are active cases.

9 in Kalimpong:

9 new cases, 19 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 9 new cases, and till today there are 6,572 confirmed cases of which 6,272 have recovered, 44 died and 256 are active cases.

12 in Alipurduar:

12 new cases, 16 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 12 new cases, and till today there are 15,080 confirmed cases of which 14,752 have recovered and 99 died while 229 are active cases.

30 in Coochbehar: 

30 new cases, 37 releases reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 30 new cases, and till today there are 28,072 confirmed cases of which 27,460 have recovered, 95 died and 517 are active cases.

59 in Jalpaiguri: 

59 new cases, 42 releases reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 59 new cases, and till today there are 40,440 confirmed cases of which 548 died while 39, 273 have recovered and 619 are active cases.

2 in Uttar Dinajpur:

2 new cases, 9 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 2 new cases, and till today, there are 19,538 confirmed cases of which 233 died while 19,190 have recovered 115 are active cases.

4 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

4 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 4 new cases, and till today there are 17,007 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,735 have recovered and 104 are active cases.

5 in Malda:  

5 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 5 new cases, and till today there are 32,734 confirmed cases of which 32,471 have recovered and 185 died and 78 are active.
