KalimNews, Kalimpong, 20 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

2 Death:

Death of 1 in Jalpaiguri, 1 in Uttar Dinajpur is recorded during the last 24 hours.

2 in Darjeeling, 1 in Kalimpong, 1 in Alipurduar, 2 in Coochbehar, , and 1 in Dakshin Dinajpur, 1 in Malda,

49 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 49 new cases, 73 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 49 new cases, and till today there are 54,598 confirmed cases of which 52186 have recovered and 514 died while 898 are active cases.

9 in Kalimpong:

9 new cases, 17 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 9 new cases, and till today there are 6,607 confirmed cases of which 6,352 have recovered, 47 died and 208 are active cases.

12 in Alipurduar:

12 new cases, 16 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 12 new cases, and till today there are 15,125 confirmed cases of which 14,829 have recovered and 99 died while 197 are active cases.

32 in Coochbehar: 

32 new cases, 38 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 32 new cases, and till today there are 28,231 confirmed cases of which 27,640 have recovered, 95 died and 496 are active cases.

35 in Jalpaiguri: 

35 new cases, 44 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 35 new cases, and till today there are 40,556 confirmed cases of which 550 died while 39, 483 have recovered and 523 are active cases.

12 in Uttar Dinajpur:

12 new cases, 8 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 12 new cases, and till today, there are 19,568 confirmed cases of which 234 died while 19,230 have recovered 104 are active cases.

3 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

3 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 3 new cases, and till today there are 17,024 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,769 have recovered and 87 are active cases.

3 in Malda:  

3 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 3 new cases, and till today there are 32,767 confirmed cases of which 32,500 have recovered and 185 died and 82 are active.
