New cases- 6 in Kalimpong, 50 in Darjeeling, 1 death in North Bengal: State records 546 new cases, 13 death.

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 31 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

1 Death:

Death of 1 in Jalpaiguri is recorded during the last 24 hours.

50 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 50 new cases, 57 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 50 new cases, and till today there are 55,176 confirmed cases of which 53875 have recovered and 516 died while 785 are active cases.

6 in Kalimpong:

6 new cases, 12 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 6 new cases, and till today there are 6,718 confirmed cases of which 6,506 have recovered, 51 died and 161 are active cases.

7 in Alipurduar:

7 new cases, 11 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 7 new cases, and till today there are 15,223 confirmed cases of which 14,972 have recovered and 99 died while 152 are active cases.

17 in Coochbehar: 

17 new cases, 28 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 17 new cases, and till today there are 28,474 confirmed cases of which 28,003 have recovered, 95 died and 376 are active cases.

14 in Jalpaiguri: 

14 new cases, 31 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 14 new cases, and till today there are 40,840 confirmed cases of which 553 died while 39, 876 have recovered and 411 are active cases.

1 in Uttar Dinajpur:

1 new cases, 5 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 1 new cases, and till today, there are 19,607 confirmed cases of which 235 died while 19,302 have recovered 70 are active cases.

9 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

9 new cases, 8 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 9 new cases, and till today there are 17,128 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,846 have recovered and 114 are active cases.

1 in Malda:  

1 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 1 new cases, and till today there are 32,822 confirmed cases of which 32,5563 have recovered and 185 died and 74 are active.
