KalimNews, Kalimpong, 29 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

1 Death:

Death of 1 in Kalimpong is recorded during the last 24 hours.

44 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 44 new cases, 61 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 44 new cases, and till today there are 55,074 confirmed cases of which 53761 have recovered and 516 died while 797 are active cases.

6 in Kalimpong:

6 new cases, 14 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 6 new cases, and till today there are 6,706 confirmed cases of which 6,482 have recovered, 51 died and 173 are active cases.

10 in Alipurduar:

10 new cases, 12 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 10 new cases, and till today there are 15,208 confirmed cases of which 14,950 have recovered and 99 died while 159 are active cases.

17 in Coochbehar: 

17 new cases, 31 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 17 new cases, and till today there are 28,440 confirmed cases of which 27,947 have recovered, 95 died and 398 are active cases.

24 in Jalpaiguri: 

24 new cases, 35 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 24 new cases, and till today there are 40,816 confirmed cases of which 552 died while 39, 813 have recovered and 451 are active cases.

4 in Uttar Dinajpur:

4 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 4 new cases, and till today, there are 19,603 confirmed cases of which 235 died while 19,292 have recovered 76 are active cases.

9 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

9 new cases, 8 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 9 new cases, and till today there are 17,105 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,830 have recovered and 107 are active cases.

8 in Malda:  

8 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 8 new cases, and till today there are 32,814 confirmed cases of which 32,5526 have recovered and 185 died and 77 are active.
