KalimNews, Kalimpong, 6 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

2 Death:

Death of 1 in Darjeeling,1 in Kalimpong, is recorded during the last 24 hours.

54 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 54 new cases, 79 releases are reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 54 new cases, and till today there are 53,736 confirmed cases of which 52,184 have recovered and 500 died while 1052 are active cases.

47 in Kalimpong:

47 new cases, 15 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 47 new cases, and till today there are 6,379 confirmed cases of which 6,103 have recovered, 43 died and 233 are active cases.

13 in Alipurduar:

13 new cases, 18 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 13 new cases, and till today there are 14,941 confirmed cases of which 14,598 have recovered and 99 died while 244 are active cases.

33 in Coochbehar: 

33 new cases, 42 releases reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 33 new cases, and till today there are 27,773 confirmed cases of which 27,109 have recovered, 95 died and 569 are active cases.

52 in Jalpaiguri: 

52 new cases, 47 releases reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 52 new cases, and till today there are 40,048 confirmed cases of which 539 died while 38, 867 have recovered and 642 are active cases.

9 in Uttar Dinajpur:

9 new cases, 9 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 9 new cases, and till today, there are 19,470 confirmed cases of which 233 died while 19,108 have recovered 129 are active cases.

8 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

8 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 8 new cases, and till today there are 16,935 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,668 have recovered and 98 are active cases.

3 in Malda:  

3 new cases, 5 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 3 new cases, and till today there are 32,672 confirmed cases of which 32,425 have recovered and 184 died and 63 are active.
