New cases- 40 in Kalimpong, 53 in Darjeeling, 1 death in North Bengal: State records 557 new cases, 11 death.

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 9 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

1 Death:

Death of 1 in Jalpaiguri is recorded during the last 24 hours.

53 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 53 new cases, 70 releases are reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 53 new cases, and till today there are 53,915 confirmed cases of which 52,406 have recovered and 501 died while 1008 are active cases.

40 in Kalimpong:

40 new cases, 17 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 40 new cases, and till today there are 6,476 confirmed cases of which 6,156 have recovered, 43 died and 277 are active cases.

34 in Alipurduar:

34 new cases, 16 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 34 new cases, and till today there are 15,998 confirmed cases of which 14,651 have recovered and 99 died while 248 are active cases.

34 in Coochbehar: 

34 new cases, 38 releases reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 34 new cases, and till today there are 27,874 confirmed cases of which 27,229 have recovered, 95 died and 550 are active cases.

13 in Jalpaiguri: 

13 new cases, 47 releases reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 13 new cases, and till today there are 40,197 confirmed cases of which 542 died while 39, 010 have recovered and 645 are active cases.

6 in Uttar Dinajpur:

6 new cases, 9 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 6 new cases, and till today, there are 19,493 confirmed cases of which 233 died while 19,136 have recovered 124 are active cases.

13 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

13 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 13 new cases, and till today there are 16,964 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,689 have recovered and 107 are active cases.

8 in Malda:  

8 new cases, 4 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 8 new cases, and till today there are 32,687 confirmed cases of which 32,438 have recovered and 184 died and 65 are active.
