KalimNews, Kalimpong, 10 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

2 Death:
Death of 1 in Darjeeling, 1 in Malda is recorded during the last 24 hours.

64 in Darjeeling:
During the last 48 hours 64 new cases, 71 releases are reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 64 new cases, and till today there are 53,979 confirmed cases of which 52,477 have recovered and 502 died while 1000 are active cases.

35 in Kalimpong:
35 new cases, 18 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 35 new cases, and till today there are 6,511 confirmed cases of which 6,174 have recovered, 43 died and 294 are active cases.

13 in Alipurduar:
13 new cases, 16 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 13 new cases, and till today there are 15,011 confirmed cases of which 14,667 have recovered and 99 died while 245 are active cases.

31 in Coochbehar: 
31 new cases, 39 releases reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 31 new cases, and till today there are 27,905 confirmed cases of which 27,268 have recovered, 95 died and 542 are active cases.

35 in Jalpaiguri: 
35 new cases, 45 releases reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 35 new cases, and till today there are 40,232 confirmed cases of which 542 died while 39, 055 have recovered and 635 are active cases.

5 in Uttar Dinajpur:
5 new cases, 9 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 5 new cases, and till today, there are 19,498 confirmed cases of which 233 died while 19,145 have recovered 120 are active cases.

5 in Dakshin Dinajpur:
5 new cases, 8 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 5 new cases, and till today there are 16,969 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,697 have recovered and 104 are active cases.

8 in Malda:  
8 new cases, 5 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 8 new cases, and till today there are 32,695 confirmed cases of which 32,443 have recovered and 185 died and 67 are active.
