KalimNews, Kalimpong, 13 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

1 Death:

Death of 1 in Jalpaiguri is recorded during the last 24 hours.

73 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 71 new cases, 71 releases are reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 73 new cases, and till today there are 54,197 confirmed cases of which 52,692 have recovered and 504 died while 1001 are active cases.

31 in Kalimpong:

31 new cases, 19 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 31 new cases, and till today there are 6,555 confirmed cases of which 6,233 have recovered, 44 died and 278 are active cases.

18 in Alipurduar:

18 new cases, 17 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 18 new cases, and till today there are 15,059 confirmed cases of which 14,719 have recovered and 99 died while 241 are active cases.

35 in Coochbehar: 

35 new cases, 40 releases reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 35 new cases, and till today there are 28,008 confirmed cases of which 27,385 have recovered, 95 died and 528 are active cases.

30 in Jalpaiguri: 

30 new cases, 43 releases reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 30 new cases, and till today there are 40,330 confirmed cases of which 544 died while 39, 188 have recovered and 598 are active cases.

9 in Uttar Dinajpur:

9 new cases, 9 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 9 new cases, and till today, there are 19,528 confirmed cases of which 233 died while 19,172 have recovered 123 are active cases.

10 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

10 new cases, 8 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 10 new cases, and till today there are 17,001 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,720 have recovered and 113 are active cases.

4 in Malda:  

4 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 4 new cases, and till today there are 32,724 confirmed cases of which 32,459 have recovered and 185 died and 80 are active.
