KalimNews, Kalimpong, 22 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

0 Death:

57 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 57 new cases, 64 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 57 new cases, and till today there are 54,715 confirmed cases of which 53316 have recovered and 515 died while 884 are active cases.

3 in Kalimpong:

3 new cases, 15 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 3 new cases, and till today there are 6,629 confirmed cases of which 6,382 have recovered, 48 died and 199 are active cases.

10 in Alipurduar:

10 new cases, 14 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 10 new cases, and till today there are 15,149 confirmed cases of which 14,857 have recovered and 99 died while 193 are active cases.

26 in Coochbehar: 

26 new cases, 35 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 26 new cases, and till today there are 28,284 confirmed cases of which 27,711 have recovered, 95 died and 478 are active cases.

12 in Jalpaiguri: 

12 new cases, 38 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 12 new cases, and till today there are 40,619 confirmed cases of which 550 died while 39, 559 have recovered and 510 are active cases.

5 in Uttar Dinajpur:

5 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 5 new cases, and till today, there are 19,578 confirmed cases of which 234 died while 19,245 have recovered 99 are active cases.

8 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

8 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 8 new cases, and till today there are 17,036 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,781 have recovered and 87 are active cases.

7 in Malda:  

7 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 7 new cases, and till today there are 32,778 confirmed cases of which 32,512 have recovered and 185 died and 81 are active.
