KalimNews, Kalimpong, 8 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:
2 Death:
Death of 1 in Darjeeling, 1 in Jalpaiguri is recorded during the last 24 hours.
1 in Kalimpong,1 in Alipurduar, 2 in Coochbehar, 1 in Uttar Dinajpur, and 1 in Dakshin Dinajpur, 1 in Malda
69 in Darjeeling:
During the last 48 hours 69 new cases, 74 releases are reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 69 new cases, and till today there are 53,862 confirmed cases of which 52,336 have recovered and 501 died while 1025 are active cases.
29 in Kalimpong:
29 new cases, 18 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 29 new cases, and till today there are 6,436 confirmed cases of which 6,139 have recovered, 43 died and 254 are active cases.
13 in Alipurduar:
13 new cases, 19 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 13 new cases, and till today there are 14,987 confirmed cases of which 14,635 have recovered and 99 died while 253 are active cases.
34 in Coochbehar:
34 new cases, 40 releases reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 34 new cases, and till today there are 27,840 confirmed cases of which 27,191 have recovered, 95 died and 554 are active cases.
60 in Jalpaiguri:
60 new cases, 48 releases reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 60 new cases, and till today there are 40,184 confirmed cases of which 541 died while 38, 963 have recovered and 680 are active cases.
7 in Uttar Dinajpur:
7 new cases, 9 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 7 new cases, and till today, there are 19,487 confirmed cases of which 233 died while 19,127 have recovered 127 are active cases.
8 in Dakshin Dinajpur:
8 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 8 new cases, and till today there are 16,951 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,682 have recovered and 101 are active cases.
3 in Malda:
3 new cases, 4 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 3 new cases, and till today there are 32,679 confirmed cases of which 32,434 have recovered and 184 died and 61 are active.
