New cases- 28 in Kalimpong, 57 in Darjeeling, 1 death in North Bengal: State records 749 new cases, 15 death.

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 7 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

1 Death:

Death of 1 in Jalpaiguri is recorded during the last 24 hours.

57 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 57 new cases, 78 releases are reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 57 new cases, and till today there are 53,793 confirmed cases of which 52,262 have recovered and 500 died while 1031 are active cases.

28 in Kalimpong:

28 new cases, 18 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 28 new cases, and till today there are 6,407 confirmed cases of which 6,121 have recovered, 43 died and 243 are active cases.

33 in Alipurduar:

33 new cases, 18 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 33 new cases, and till today there are 14,974 confirmed cases of which 14,616 have recovered and 99 died while 259 are active cases.

33 in Coochbehar: 

33 new cases, 42 releases reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 33 new cases, and till today there are 27,806 confirmed cases of which 27,151 have recovered, 95 died and 560 are active cases.

76 in Jalpaiguri: 

76 new cases, 48 releases reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 76 new cases, and till today there are 40,124 confirmed cases of which 540 died while 38, 915 have recovered and 669 are active cases.

10 in Uttar Dinajpur:

10 new cases, 10 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 9 new cases, and till today, there are 19,480 confirmed cases of which 233 died while 19,118 have recovered 129 are active cases.

8 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

8 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 8 new cases, and till today there are 16,943 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,675 have recovered and 100 are active cases.

4 in Malda:  

4 new cases, 5 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 4 new cases, and till today there are 32,676 confirmed cases of which 32,430 have recovered and 184 died and 62 are active.
