KalimNews, Kalimpong, 21 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

2 Death:
Death of 1 in Darjeeling, 1 in Kalimpong is recorded during the last 24 hours.

60 in Darjeeling:
During the last 48 hours 60 new cases, 66 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 60 new cases, and till today there are 54,658 confirmed cases of which 53252 have recovered and 515 died while 891 are active cases.

19 in Kalimpong:
19 new cases, 15 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 19 new cases, and till today there are 6,626 confirmed cases of which 6,367 have recovered, 48 died and 211 are active cases.

14 in Alipurduar:
14 new cases, 14 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 14 new cases, and till today there are 15,139 confirmed cases of which 14,843 have recovered and 99 died while 197 are active cases.

27 in Coochbehar: 
27 new cases, 36 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 27 new cases, and till today there are 28,258 confirmed cases of which 27,676 have recovered, 95 died and 487 are active cases.

51 in Jalpaiguri: 
51 new cases, 38 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 51 new cases, and till today there are 40,607 confirmed cases of which 550 died while 39, 521 have recovered and 536 are active cases.

5 in Uttar Dinajpur:
5 new cases, 8 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 5 new cases, and till today, there are 19,573 confirmed cases of which 234 died while 19,238 have recovered 101 are active cases.

4 in Dakshin Dinajpur:
4 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 4 new cases, and till today there are 17,028 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,775 have recovered and 85 are active cases.

4 in Malda:  
4 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 4 new cases, and till today there are 32,771 confirmed cases of which 32,506 have recovered and 185 died and 80 are active.
