KalimNews, Kalimpong, 5 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

2 Death:

Death of 1 in Kalimpong, 1 in Jalpaiguri is recorded during the last 24 hours.

3 in Darjeeling, 2 in Jalpaiguri 1 in Alipurduar, 2 in Coochbehar, 1 in Uttar Dinajpur, and 1 in Dakshin Dinajpur, 1 in Malda

75 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 75 new cases, 78 releases are reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 75 new cases, and till today there are 53,682 confirmed cases of which 52,105 have recovered and 499 died while 1078 are active cases.

12 in Kalimpong:

12 new cases, 31 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 12 new cases, and till today there are 6,332 confirmed cases of which 6,088 have recovered, 42 died and 202 are active cases.

16 in Alipurduar:

16 new cases, 18 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 16 new cases, and till today there are 14,928 confirmed cases of which 14,580 have recovered and 99 died while 249 are active cases.

34 in Coochbehar: 

34 new cases, 43 releases reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 34 new cases, and till today there are 27,740 confirmed cases of which 27,067 have recovered, 95 died and 578 are active cases.

39 in Jalpaiguri: 

39 new cases, 47 releases reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 39 new cases, and till today there are 39,996 confirmed cases of which 539 died while 38, 820 have recovered and 637 are active cases.

7 in Uttar Dinajpur:

7 new cases, 10 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 7 new cases, and till today, there are 19,461 confirmed cases of which 233 died while 19,099 have recovered 129 are active cases.

15 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

15 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 15 new cases, and till today there are 16,927 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,661 have recovered and 98 are active cases.

7 in Malda:  

7 new cases, 5 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 7 new cases, and till today there are 32,669 confirmed cases of which 32,420 have recovered and 184 died and 65 are active.
