New cases- 12 in Kalimpong, 65 in Darjeeling, 1 death in North Bengal: State records 717 new cases, 9 death.

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 26 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

1 Death:

Death of 1 in Darjeeling is recorded during the last 24 hours.

65 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 65 new cases, 66 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 65 new cases, and till today there are 54,921 confirmed cases of which 53575 have recovered and 516 died while 830 are active cases.

12 in Kalimpong:

12 new cases, 15 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 12 new cases, and till today there are 6,677 confirmed cases of which 6,440 have recovered, 49 died and 188 are active cases.

10 in Alipurduar:

10 new cases, 14 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 10 new cases, and till today there are 15,179 confirmed cases of which 14,912 have recovered and 99 died while 168 are active cases.

25 in Coochbehar: 

25 new cases, 35 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 25 new cases, and till today there are 28,383 confirmed cases of which 27,851 have recovered, 95 died and 437 are active cases.

29 in Jalpaiguri: 

29 new cases, 38 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 29 new cases, and till today there are 40,730 confirmed cases of which 551 died while 39, 706 have recovered and 473 are active cases.

4 in Uttar Dinajpur:

4 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 4 new cases, and till today, there are 19,594 confirmed cases of which 235 died while 19,273 have recovered 86 are active cases.

13 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

13 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 13 new cases, and till today there are 17,073 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,808 have recovered and 97 are active cases.

10 in Malda:  

10 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 10 new cases, and till today there are 32,797 confirmed cases of which 32,535 have recovered and 185 died and 77 are active.
