KalimNews, Kalimpong, 27 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

2 Death:

Death of 1 in Kalimpong, 1 in Jalpaiguri  is recorded during the last 24 hours.

57 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 57 new cases, 63 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 57 new cases, and till today there are 54,978 confirmed cases of which 53638 have recovered and 516 died while 824 are active cases.

12 in Kalimpong:

12 new cases, 14 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 12 new cases, and till today there are 6,689 confirmed cases of which 6,454 have recovered, 50 died and 185 are active cases.

13 in Alipurduar:

13 new cases, 13 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 13 new cases, and till today there are 15,192 confirmed cases of which 14,925 have recovered and 99 died while 168 are active cases.

21 in Coochbehar: 

21 new cases, 33 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 21 new cases, and till today there are 28,404 confirmed cases of which 27,884 have recovered, 95 died and 425 are active cases.

40 in Jalpaiguri: 

40 new cases, 36 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 40 new cases, and till today there are 40,770 confirmed cases of which 552 died while 39, 742 have recovered and 476 are active cases.

1 in Uttar Dinajpur:

1 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 1 new cases, and till today, there are 19,595 confirmed cases of which 235 died while 19,280 have recovered 80 are active cases.

7 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

7 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 7 new cases, and till today there are 17,080 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,815 have recovered and 97 are active cases.

2 in Malda:  

2 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 2 new cases, and till today there are 32,799 confirmed cases of which 32,541 have recovered and 185 died and 73 are active.
