KalimNews, Kalimpong, 25 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

2 Death:

Death of 1 in Kalimpong, 1 in Uttar Dinajpur is recorded during the last 24 hours.

54 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 54 new cases, 67 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 54 new cases, and till today there are 54,856 confirmed cases of which 53509 have recovered and 515 died while 832 are active cases.

12 in Kalimpong:

12 new cases, 15 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 12 new cases, and till today there are 6,665 confirmed cases of which 6,425 have recovered, 49 died and 191 are active cases.

8 in Alipurduar:

8 new cases, 14 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 8 new cases, and till today there are 15,169 confirmed cases of which 14,898 have recovered and 99 died while 172 are active cases.

22 in Coochbehar: 

22 new cases, 37 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 22 new cases, and till today there are 28,358 confirmed cases of which 27,816 have recovered, 95 died and 447 are active cases.

42 in Jalpaiguri: 

42 new cases, 38 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 42 new cases, and till today there are 40,701 confirmed cases of which 551 died while 39, 668 have recovered and 482 are active cases.

4 in Uttar Dinajpur:

4 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 4 new cases, and till today, there are 19,590 confirmed cases of which 235 died while 19,266 have recovered 89 are active cases.

11 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

11 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 11 new cases, and till today there are 17,060 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,801 have recovered and 91 are active cases.

3 in Malda:  

3 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 3 new cases, and till today there are 32,787 confirmed cases of which 32,529 have recovered and 185 died and 73 are active.
