KalimNews, Kalimpong, 23 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

0 Death:

47 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 47 new cases, 59 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 47 new cases, and till today there are 54,762 confirmed cases of which 53375 have recovered and 515 died while 872 are active cases.

12 in Kalimpong:

12 new cases, 13 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 12 new cases, and till today there are 6,641 confirmed cases of which 6,395 have recovered, 48 died and 198 are active cases.

5 in Alipurduar:

5 new cases, 13 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 5 new cases, and till today there are 15,154 confirmed cases of which 14,870 have recovered and 99 died while 185 are active cases.

25 in Coochbehar: 

25 new cases, 32 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 25 new cases, and till today there are 28,309 confirmed cases of which 27,743 have recovered, 95 died and 471 are active cases.

9 in Jalpaiguri: 

9 new cases, 34 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 9 new cases, and till today there are 40,628 confirmed cases of which 550 died while 39, 593 have recovered and 485 are active cases.

3 in Uttar Dinajpur:

3 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 3 new cases, and till today, there are 19,581 confirmed cases of which 234 died while 19,252 have recovered 95 are active cases.

7 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

7 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 7 new cases, and till today there are 17,043 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,787 have recovered and 88 are active cases.

1 in Malda:  

1 new cases, 5 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 1 new cases, and till today there are 32,779 confirmed cases of which 32,517 have recovered and 185 died and 87 are active.
