KalimNews, Kalimpong, 19 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

4 Death:
Death of 2 in Darjeeling, 1 in Kalimpong, 1 in Jalpaiguri, is recorded during the last 24 hours.
1 in Alipurduar, 2 in Coochbehar, 1 in Uttar Dinajpur, and 1 in Dakshin Dinajpur, 1 in Malda,

47 in Darjeeling:
During the last 48 hours 47 new cases, 77 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 47 new cases, and till today there are 54,549 confirmed cases of which 52113 have recovered and 514 died while 922 are active cases.

12 in Kalimpong:
12 new cases, 18 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 12 new cases, and till today there are 6,598 confirmed cases of which 6,335 have recovered, 47 died and 216 are active cases.

12 in Alipurduar:
12 new cases, 17 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 12 new cases, and till today there are 15,113 confirmed cases of which 14,813 have recovered and 99 died while 201 are active cases.

30 in Coochbehar: 
30 new cases, 41 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 30 new cases, and till today there are 28,199 confirmed cases of which 27,602 have recovered, 95 died and 502 are active cases.

25 in Jalpaiguri: 
25 new cases, 45 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 25 new cases, and till today there are 40,521 confirmed cases of which 549 died while 39, 439 have recovered and 533 are active cases.

2 in Uttar Dinajpur:
2 new cases, 9 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 2 new cases, and till today, there are 19,556 confirmed cases of which 233 died while 19,222 have recovered 101 are active cases.

7 in Dakshin Dinajpur:
7 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 7 new cases, and till today there are 17,021 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,762 have recovered and 91 are active cases.

9 in Malda:  
9 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 9 new cases, and till today there are 32,764 confirmed cases of which 32,494 have recovered and 185 died and 85 are active.
