New cases- 12 in Kalimpong, 40 in Darjeeling, 1 death in North Bengal: State records 613 new cases, 12 death.

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 24 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

1 Death:

Death of 1 in Jalpaiguri is recorded during the last 24 hours.

40 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 40 new cases, 67 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 40 new cases, and till today there are 54,802 confirmed cases of which 53442 have recovered and 515 died while 845 are active cases.

12 in Kalimpong:

12 new cases, 15 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 12 new cases, and till today there are 6,653 confirmed cases of which 6,410 have recovered, 48 died and 195 are active cases.

7 in Alipurduar:

7 new cases, 14 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 7 new cases, and till today there are 15,161 confirmed cases of which 14,884 have recovered and 99 died while 178 are active cases.

27 in Coochbehar: 

27 new cases, 36 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 27 new cases, and till today there are 28,336 confirmed cases of which 27,779 have recovered, 95 died and 462 are active cases.

31 in Jalpaiguri: 

31 new cases, 37 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 31 new cases, and till today there are 40,659 confirmed cases of which 551 died while 39, 630 have recovered and 478 are active cases.

5 in Uttar Dinajpur:

5 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 5 new cases, and till today, there are 19,586 confirmed cases of which 234 died while 19,259 have recovered 93 are active cases.

6 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

6 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 6 new cases, and till today there are 17,049 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,794 have recovered and 87 are active cases.

5 in Malda:  

5 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 5 new cases, and till today there are 32,784 confirmed cases of which 32,523 have recovered and 185 died and 76 are active.
