KalimNews, Kalimpong, 12 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

2 Death:

Death of 1 in Darjeeling, 1 in Jalpaiguri is recorded during the last 24 hours.

74 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 74 new cases, 71 releases are reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 74 new cases, and till today there are 54,124 confirmed cases of which 52,621 have recovered and 504 died while 999 are active cases.

11 in Kalimpong:

11 new cases, 19 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 11 new cases, and till today there are 6,524 confirmed cases of which 6,214 have recovered, 44 died and 266 are active cases.

14 in Alipurduar:

14 new cases, 17 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 14 new cases, and till today there are 15,041 confirmed cases of which 14,702 have recovered and 99 died while 240 are active cases.

35 in Coochbehar: 

35 new cases, 38 releases reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 35 new cases, and till today there are 27,973 confirmed cases of which 27,345 have recovered, 95 died and 533 are active cases.

31 in Jalpaiguri: 

31 new cases, 44 releases reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 31 new cases, and till today there are 40,300 confirmed cases of which 543 died while 39, 145 have recovered and 612 are active cases.

6 in Uttar Dinajpur:

6 new cases, 9 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 6 new cases, and till today, there are 19,519 confirmed cases of which 233 died while 19,163 have recovered 123 are active cases.

15 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

15 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 15 new cases, and till today there are 16,991 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,712 have recovered and 111 are active cases.

20 in Malda:  

20 new cases, 5 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 20 new cases, and till today there are 32,720 confirmed cases of which 32,453 have recovered and 185 died and 82 are active.
