KalimNews, Kalimpong, 2 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

3 Death:
3 death, death of 1 in Kalimpong, 2 in Jalpaiguri is recorded during the last 24 hours.

49 in Darjeeling:
During the last 48 hours 49 new cases, 77 releases are reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 49 new cases, and till today there are 53,485 confirmed cases of which 51,851 have recovered and 496 died while 1138 are active cases.

11 in Kalimpong:
11 new cases, 23 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 11 new cases, and till today there are 6,274 confirmed cases of which 6,010 have recovered, 40 died and 224 are active cases.

11 in Alipurduar:
11 new cases, 18 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 11 new cases, and till today there are 14,875 confirmed cases of which 14,528 have recovered and 99 died while 248 are active cases.

36 in Coochbehar: 
36 new cases, 42 releases reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 36 new cases, and till today there are 27,621 confirmed cases of which 26,942 have recovered, 95 died and 584 are active cases.

22 in Jalpaiguri: 
22 new cases, 41 releases reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 22 new cases, and till today there are 39,842 confirmed cases of which 538 died while 38, 683 have recovered and 621 are active cases.

1 in Uttar Dinajpur:
1 new cases, 9 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 1 new cases, and till today, there are 19,425 confirmed cases of which 233 died while 19,072 have recovered 120 are active cases.

6 in Dakshin Dinajpur:
6 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 6 new cases, and till today there are 16,901 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,642 have recovered and 91 are active cases.

2 in Malda:  
2 new cases, 4 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 2 new cases, and till today there are 32,650 confirmed cases of which 32,407 have recovered and 184 died and 59 are active.
