KalimNews, Kalimpong, 29 July 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

5 Death:

Death of 1 in Darjeeling, 4 in Jalpaiguri, district is recorded during the last 24 hours.

1 in Kalimpong, 1 in Alipurduar, 2 in Coochbehar, in Uttar Dinajpur, and 1 in Dakshin Dinajpur, 1 in Malda

69 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 69 new cases, 77 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 69 new cases, and till today there are 53240 confirmed cases of which 51,526 have recovered and 496 died while 1218 are active cases.

14 in Kalimpong:

14 new cases, 17 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 14 new cases, and till today there are 6196 confirmed cases of which 5927 have recovered, 39 died and 230 are active cases.

14 in Alipurduar:

14 new cases, 20 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 14 new cases, and till today there are 14,819 confirmed cases of which 14452 have recovered and 99 died while 268 are active cases.

38 in Coochbehar: 

38 new cases, 45 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 38 new cases, and till today there are 27,474 confirmed cases of which 26,765 have recovered, 95 died and 614 are active cases.

40 in Jalpaiguri: 

40 new cases, 48 releases reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 40 new cases, and till today there are 39,689 confirmed cases of which 534 died while 38,499 have recovered and 656 are active cases.

4 in Uttar Dinajpur:

4 new cases, 9 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 4 new cases, and till today, there are 19,393 confirmed cases of which 233 died while 19,035 have recovered 125 are active cases.

2 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

2 new cases, 13 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 2 new cases, and till today there are 16,883 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,615 have recovered and 100 are active cases.

1 in Malda:  

1 new case, 5 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 1 new cases, and till today there are 32,638 confirmed cases of which 32,389 have recovered and 184 died and 65 are active.
