Weather Warning : Heavy to very heavy rain till 3rd July

KalimNews. Kalimpong, 28 Jane 21: Regional Meteorological centre Kolkata of the India Meteorological department  cautioned with the following warnings:

Thunderstorm with moderate lightning probability, gusty wind speed 40-50 Kmph and light to moderate rainfall likely to affect over some parts of Malda, North & South Dinajpur districts of West Bengal during next 2-3 hours from 16:20 hrs IST of today the 28th June'2021. 

Thunderstorm with moderate lightning probability and light to moderate rainfall likely to affect over some parts of Malda, North & South Dinajpur districts of West Bengal during next 2-3 hours from 16:10 hrs IST of today the 28th June'2021. 

Thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rainfall likely to affect over some parts of Jalpaiguri, North Dinajpur and Darjeeling districts of West Bengal during next 2-3 hours from 15:00 hrs IST of today the 28th June'2021.

Weather Warning for the Region 

28 June 

1) Heavy to very heavy rain (7-20cm) likely to occur at one or two places over  Coochbehar, Alipurduar districts of Sub Himalayan West Bengal.

2) Heavy rain (7-11cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Bihar, Sikkim and Jalpaiguri districts of Sub Himalayan West Bengal.

3) Thunderstorm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and the districts of Gangetic West Bengal.

29 June

1) Heavy to very heavy rain (7-20cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Sikkim and Jalpaiguri, Coochbehar, Alipurduar districts of Sub Himalayan West Bengal.

2) Heavy rain (7-11cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Bihar and Darjeeling, Kalimpong, North & South Dinajpur, Murshidabad districts of West Bengal.

3) Thunderstorm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over Bihar, Jharkhand districts of Gangetic West Bengal.

30 June 

1) Heavy rain (7-11cm) at a few places with very heavy (12-20cm) to extremely heavy rain (>20cm) at one or two places very likely to occur over Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Coochbehar, Alipurduar districts of Sub Himalayan West Bengal. 

2) Heavy to very heavy rain (7-20cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Sikkim.

3) Heavy rain (7-11cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Bihar and North & South Dinajpur, Malda, Murshidabad, Nadia, Birbhum districts of West Bengal.

4) Thunderstorm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and the districts of Gangetic West Bengal.

01 July 

1) Heavy rain (7-11cm) at a few places with very heavy (12-20cm) to extremely heavy rain (>20cm) at one or two  places very likely to occur over Alipurduar district of Sub Himalayan West Bengal.

2) Heavy to very heavy rain (7-20cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Bihar and Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Coochbehar districts of Sub Himalayan West Bengal.  

3) Heavy rain (7-11cm)likely to occur at one or two places over Odisha, Sikkim. Malda and North & South Dinajpur districts of West Bengal.

4) Thunderstorm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha.

2 July 

1) Heavy rain very likely at a few places with very heavy to extremely heavy rain very likely at one or two places over Coochbehar, Alipurduar districts. 

2) Heavy to very heavy rain (7-20cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Bihar, Sikkim, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri districts 

3) Heavy rain (7-11cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Odisha.
