2) Thunder storm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands and the districts of SubHimalayan West Bengal.
06 June
1) Heavy rain (7-11cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Sikkim and Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Kalimpong, Coochbehar, Alipurduar districts of SubHimalayan West Bengal.
2) Thunder storm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands
07 June
1) Heavy rain (7-11cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Sikkim and Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Kalimpong, Coochbehar, Alipurduar districts of SubHimalayan West Bengal.
2)Thunder storm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Odisha, Bihar.
08 June.
1) Heavy rain (7-11cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Sikkim and Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Kalimpong, Coochbehar, Alipurduar districts of SubHimalayan West Bengal.
2)Thunder storm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand and Murshidabad, Nadia, Birbhum, East & West Burdwan districts of Gangetic West Bengal.
Very light to moderate rain occurred at a few places over the districts of SubHimalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
Weather remained dry over the rest of the region.
Southwest Monsoon has further advanced in to remaining parts of south Arabian Sea, some parts of central Arabian Sea, remaining parts of Lakshadweep & Kerala, most parts of Coastal & South Interior Karnataka, some parts of North Interior Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, some more parts of Tamilnadu, remaining parts of Southwest Bay of Bengal, some parts of Westcentral and some more parts of Eastcentral Bay of Bengal.
A cyclonic circulation lies over south Bihar & neighbourhood and extends upto 0.9km above mean sea level. A trough in westerlies at 3.1km above mean sea level runs roughly along Longitude 90°E to the north of 20°N.
The cyclonic circulation over Equatorial Indian Ocean & adjoining central parts of South Bay of Bengal now lies over Sri Lanka & adjoining Comorin area between 3.1km & 4.5 km above mean sea level. The cyclonic circulation over north Chhattisgarh & neighbourhood and extends upto 1.5km above mean sea level has become less marked.
The eastwest shear zone from Southwest Arabian Sea to Southeast bay of Bengal across extreme southern peninsula along Latitude 8°Nat3.1km above mean sea level has become less marked.
