KalimNews, Kalimpong, 1 June 2021: Report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours is as follows:

14 Death:

Death of 5 in Darjeeling, 7 in Jalpaiguri, 2 in Dakshin Dinajpur district is recorded during the last 24 hours.

446 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 446 new cases, 755 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Darjeeling district records 446 new cases, 43197 confirmed cases of which 39425 have recovered and 373 died while 3399 are active cases.

85 in Kalimpong:

85 new cases, 108 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 85 new cases, 4757 confirmed cases of which 4225 have recovered, 35 died and 497 are active cases.

46 in Alipurduar:

46 new cases, 198 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Alipurduar records 46 new cases, 12030 confirmed cases of which 11117 have recovered and 94 died while 819 are active cases.

258 in Coochbehar: 

258 new cases, 374 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Coochbehar records 258 new cases, 21649 confirmed cases of which 19843 have recovered, 84 died and 1722 are active cases.

451 in Jalpaiguri: 

451 new cases, 687 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Jalpaiguri records 451 new cases, 31135 confirmed cases of which 381 died while 27612 have recovered and 3142 are active cases.

117 in Uttar Dinajpur:

117 new cases, 256 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 117 new cases, 17518 confirmed cases of which 191 died while 16208 have recovered and 1119 are active cases.

118 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

118 new cases, 199 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 118 new cases, 15307 confirmed cases of which 145 died while 14265 have recovered and 897 are active cases.

159 in Malda:  

159 new cases, 221 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Malda records 159 new cases, 31415 confirmed cases of which 30210 have recovered and 179 died and 1026 are active cases.

Similarly Kalimpong district records 85 new cases, 4757 confirmed cases of which 4225 have recovered, 35 died and 497 are active cases.
