KalimNews, Kalimpong, 24 May 2021: Report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours is as follows:

21 Death:

Death of 2 in Darjeeling, 10 in Jalpaiguri, 6 in Uttar Dinajpur, 3 in Dakshin Dinajpur district is recorded during the last 24 hours.

553 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 553 new cases, 687 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Darjeeling district records 553 new cases, 38650 confirmed cases of which 33903 have recovered and 339 died while 4408 are active cases.

98 in Kalimpong:

98 new cases, 69 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 98 new cases, 4139 confirmed cases of which 3616 have recovered, 32 died and 491 are active cases.

76 in Alipurduar:

76 new cases, 141 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Alipurduar records 76 new cases, 10803 confirmed cases of which 9815 have recovered and 93 died while 895 are active cases.

279 in Coochbehar: 

279 new cases, 264 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 Coochbehar records 279 new cases, 19510 confirmed cases of which 17670 have recovered, 78 died and 1762 are active cases.

592 in Jalpaiguri: 

592 new cases, 479 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Jalpaiguri records 592 new cases, 27026 confirmed cases of which 318 died while 23447 have recovered and 3261 are active cases.

252 in Uttar Dinajpur:

252 new cases, 256 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 252 new cases, 16265 confirmed cases of which 172 died while 14406 have recovered and 1687 are active cases.

103 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

103 new cases, 174 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 103 new cases, 14145 confirmed cases of which 126 died while 12939 have recovered and 1080 are active cases.

271 in Malda:  

271 new cases, 249 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Malda records 271 new cases, 30359 confirmed cases of which 28510 have recovered and 177 died and 1672 are active cases.

Dakshin Dinajpur records 103 new cases, 14145 confirmed cases of which 126 died while 12939 have recovered and 1080 are active cases.

Malda records 271 new cases, 30359 confirmed cases of which 28510 have recovered and 177 died and 1672 are active cases.
